As we reached the ground, the drizzle had stopped but the clouds were still hovering around. For the first time I felt that the squad believes it can win today. Lordie was all fired up. He was leading the warm up session. He walked up to the Skipper and spoke to him for about 5 minutes. I could sense that, right at that very moment, we were witnessing a huge shift in our mindset today.
After the warm-ups, the 11 was announced. And I realised that I had got everything wrong. If I were to read too much into it, I could come up with a conspiracy theory that the management had done this to prove me wrong. But, I will just own it up. I saw the back-up keeper practicing so hard that I felt he was in. And the same goes for our Bangla Tiger. And, I tried to play skipper in selecting Junta Tormentor. Anyway, I got them all wrong which clearly shows that I am not as smart as I pretend to be.
Before the skipper went out to toss, I had a first-hand experience of what made Lordie such an accomplished captain during his time. He took over the match briefing, and boy, was he charged up or what. He just let loose, telling the boys what is expected of them, telling them that they are part of the best team in IPL and they need to stand up and be counted. (I must tell you that I stood up right at that moment, but I don’t think the counting was on then). And he has balls too. Imagine the slowest member of the team chastising guys twice as fast on matters such as agility, speed and throwing. I mean, it takes some special kind of confidence to do so. I am convinced he has royal blue blood running through his veins. We mortal beings would never manage to do this.
On a serious note though, the man knows how to motivate the boys. He may be slow on the field and, at this age, slow off the field as well. May be he doesn’t understand T20 well enough, but when it comes to being of leader of men, there are few who can match him.
Dildo had joined us during that time. He stood there deep in thought probably wondering if he is backing the right horse. By the time the skipper went out to toss, I knew that the toss didn’t really matter. We have the match in our bag. Chatterjee Kaku was right, after all
Good one
why dont u add some videos…..
Awsome creativity boss!!
The Fake IPL Blogger Busted!!! Who IS The Fake IPL Blogger? Find the answer!!!
Man you are awesome. I return to your blog every 2 hours hoping to get something new. Rightly said – this is more interesting than the IPL itself. Great piece of work. Keep going.
good job, once big B was enjoying the glamour of beautiqueens, now its the turn of srk to enjoy cheer leaders.
Man, had you not used so many desi jargons we could have blamed it on Bhukha Naan and got him fired. Dildo has definitely betrayed the team’s fans. Great blog. You are a hero in the Lord’s homeland.
MAN AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!WHAT EVER HE KNOWS IN AND OUT OF THE THINGS NO ROOOKIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!i CAN SEE SOME PROFESSIONALISM……………KEEP IT UP MATE!!!!!!!!!!
KKR matches are not half as interesting as your blogs!!
For pure entertainment, this blog gives me pleasure. I like your writing for the wit and sarcasm which is persuasive, and makes me feel the same as well. But, in reality, I don’t understand your motivatation to deride other players/officials involved in the IPL. Have you been ill-treated by them? Are you unhappy that you don’t get paid as much as most of the others do? Or is it just a publicity stunt to promote your team?
Hi Mr.Whoever you are, I dont know your real purpose behind doing something like this since its never heard before stuff. But whatever it is I feel there is nothing wrong in whatever you are doing unless you reveal the squad before the match which amounts to matchfixing like deal.I have an idea for Mr. Slimeball who infact never misses any opportunity to cashin with his golden goose {IPL}.So coming to the point why not start a legitimate IPL blog site. Let some voluntary or pre-fixed player/PR member from every team write almost the same stuff as this FIP does i.e. the inside story. I mean we have already seen the amount of publicity it has generated and the kind of potential this idea has to generate new revenue source for IPL in addition to whatever other means it already has.Mr.Slimeball and all you team owners, if you are reading this. The pros of this idea are many. It will bring into forefront lot of transparency since the fans who are the real power/force behind this tournament being so successful deserves to know more. There is no way someone can backoff from his decisions/responsibilities. If something goes wrong for someone, we all know whom to blame and who is responsible. No innocent becomes a scapegoat. We have already seen lot of scapegoats from most of the teams in the 2 seasons who were sacked for seriously no fault of theirs.Another major pro is that it has the potential to keep the tournament really controversy free if indeed noone indulges in mud slinging and minds their own business(self team interests). It allows the public to interact with the team players in a definitely lot more meaningful manner than the latest cellular service provider commercial being posted by one of the sponsors of a IPL teamAlthough i am roughly aware of the presence of lot blogsites which are infact fan sites but not in this manner. This avenue needs to be channelised properly under proper care and supervision to see that its not misused by insane/abusive/meaningless comments.I strongly feel you have a great sense of conviction since you justify and defend yourself so strongly. Dont let us down by not revealing yourself correctly. But i am sure you wont let your peaceful life turn topsy-turvy by risking everything that you have got.The balls in your court. Thanks for the patient hearing.

This article gives the light in which we can observe the reality. This is pretty good, and gives in-depth information
Just thanked not only enough, in your writing dream-like clarity.
Especially useful article. I and my neighbors are ready to do some research.
Following my analysis, millions of people all over the world receive the loan at various banks. Hence, there’s a good chance to find a consolidation loan in all countries.
You completed several fine points there. I did a search on the matter and found most persons will go along with with your blog.
Thanks for taking the time to write that, I found it very interesting. If you get a chance you should check my site as well. I hope you have a good day!
